YOUR ROLE

We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Production & Warehouse Operator to join our Yatala team.

This isn't just another pick-and-pack warehouse position. You'll be trained to manufacture, repair and test specialised lifting and safety equipment while also supporting the day-to-day warehouse operation.

You'll work with equipment including wire rope, synthetic rope, chain slings and height safety products, using industrial presses, testing machines and other specialised equipment.

Previous lifting or rigging experience is not required. We'll provide the training.

Your day will include:

- Manufacturing and assembling lifting and safety equipment
- Operating presses, testing machines and other production equipment
- Testing and inspecting finished products
- Repairing and preparing equipment for customers
- Picking, packing, receiving and dispatching stock
- Forklift operation where licensed
- Completing accurate production and testing records
- Keeping your work area safe, organised and ready to go

ABOUT YOU

We're less concerned about whether you've worked specifically with wire rope or lifting equipment before.

We're looking for someone who is reliable, practical, safety focused and willing to learn.





You'll suit this role if you have experience in areas such as:

- Warehousing or distribution
- Manufacturing or production
- Machine operation
- Assembly or fabrication
- Mechanical or hands-on work
- Construction, rigging or industrial environments

You'll also need good basic literacy and numeracy skills, attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Experience with any of the following would be useful, but is not essential:

- Forklift operation or an LF licence
- Welding, oxy or brazing
- Press machinery
- Wire rope equipment
- Lifting or rigging equipment

If you don't currently hold a forklift licence, we're still interested in hearing from you if you're willing to obtain one.
