About the role

This is a practical, hands-on role working across commercial refrigeration, cold rooms, beer systems, glycol systems and ice machines throughout Brisbane and South East Queensland. You will work alongside experienced refrigeration technicians while completing your apprenticeship and developing strong commercial refrigeration skills.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting qualified refrigeration mechanics with commercial refrigeration service, repairs and installations
- Preventative maintenance and breakdown work
- Cold rooms and freezer rooms
- Refrigeration equipment installation and replacement
- Beer systems and glycol systems
- Ice machine servicing and maintenance
- Assisting with fault finding and diagnostics
- General installation support
- Parts collection and supplier deliveries
- Maintaining tools, equipment and work areas
- Completing job records and required safety documentation
- Working at hospitality, food production, retail and other commercial sites throughout South East Queensland

About you

- Currently completing 1st, 2nd or 3rd year refrigeration and air-conditioning apprenticeship
- Mechanically minded
- Reliable and punctual
- Willing to learn
- Comfortable with practical,



hands-on work
- Organised and able to follow instructions
- Safety focused
- Able to communicate professionally with customers and other team members
- Willing to work across different commercial sites
- Hold a current driver's licence
