We are seeking a motivated and hands-on WHS Advisor to support our operations across Western Australia, including our Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) at Canning Vale and our Return-It container deposit depots across the state.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their WHS career in a varied, operational environment. Working closely with site leaders, frontline teams and our National HSE team, you’ll provide practical safety support across multiple sites and help strengthen a positive and proactive safety culture.

About the role

- Provide practical WHS advice and support across our WA MRF and Return-It depot network.

- Support the implementation and ongoing management of Re.Group’s health and safety systems, policies and procedures.

- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, audits and hazard identification activities.

- Support incident and near-miss investigations and ensure corrective actions are followed through.

- Assist with the implementation and ongoing management of ISO 45001 safety systems.

- Deliver safety communications, toolbox talks, coaching and engagement activities.

- Support HSE reporting, trend analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Build strong relationships with site leaders and frontline teams to promote protected work practices.

- Assist with emergency preparedness, fire safety and broader HSE projects.

- Travel between Re.Group and Return-It sites across Western Australia as required.

About you

We’re looking for someone practical,



approachable and comfortable working directly with operational teams.

You will ideally have:

- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety, another relevant WHS qualification, or be working towards one.

- Experience in a WHS, HSE or safety-related role, ideally within an operational, industrial, logistics, recycling, manufacturing or similar environment.

- A sound understanding of WHS legislation, risk management and incident investigation.

- Exposure to ISO 45001 or safety management systems would be highly regarded.

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

- A hands-on approach and confidence engaging with frontline employees and leaders.

- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities across multiple sites.

- A willingness to learn, develop and take on broader responsibilities.

- Project management, fire safety, First Aid/CPR or Lead Auditor qualifications would be advantageous.

- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel between WA sites.
