M.J. Bale is looking for an enthusiastic Casual Retail Sales Assistant to join our St Collins Lane team in Melbourne’s CBD.

We’re an Australian menswear brand known for quality tailoring, natural fibres and exceptional service. We’re also a certified B Corp and Official Tailor to the Australian Test cricket team, the Wallabies and the Socceroos.

About the role

You’ll help customers find the right fit, whether they’re shopping for work, a special occasion or a wardrobe update.

Your day will include:

- Delivering friendly, personal and considered service
- Helping customers with fit, styling and product selection
- Working towards individual and store sales targets
- Building relationships with new and returning customers
- Keeping the store well presented and fully stocked




- Processing sales and assisting with stock movements
- Supporting the team during busy trade periods

About you

You’ll bring:

- Retail, hospitality or customer-service experience
- Confidence speaking with customers and making recommendations
- An interest in menswear, fashion and personal styling
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong presentation and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and peak periods

Menswear experience is an advantage but isn’t essential. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with customers, contributes to the team and takes pride in what they do.
