The Role

Available due to parental leave, this 12-month contract opportunity commences on 1 January 2027 and reports to the Director of Sport and Health and Physical Education. The successful candidate will teach Health and Physical Education across Years 7 to 12, delivering engaging and inclusive learning experiences that inspire students to develop healthy lifestyles, physical competence and a lifelong appreciation of wellbeing and sport.

As an HPE Teacher, you will play an important role in supporting both the academic progress and personal growth of students, contributing to a learning environment where every young person is known, valued and supported to reach their potential.

Beyond the classroom, you will actively contribute to the wider life of the College through cocurricular activities and sporting programs. For a suitably skilled candidate the role also provides the opportunity to contribute to the College’s Sport Strategic Development plan by taking up a key role with our Netball program, helping in developing netball at all levels within the school and club environment.

Key Responsibilities:

As a key member of the College’s Senior School teaching staff, your responsibilities include the requirement to:

- Deliver engaging and contemporary Health and Physical Education programs that support student growth, achievement and wellbeing across Years 7 to 12.

- · Foster positive, inclusive and respectful learning environments where students are challenged, supported and inspired to achieve their personal best.

- Develop effective learning experiences, assessment strategies and curriculum resources aligned with College and curriculum requirements.

- Build strong partnerships with students, families and colleagues through proactive communication and a commitment to academic care.

- Contribute to the College's sporting, outdoor learning and cocurricular programs, supporting student participation and engagement beyond the classroom.

- Champion the College values of empathy, respect,



integrity and courage while supporting the Anglican ethos and broader mission of the College.

About You

You are an enthusiastic and relationship-focused educator who believes that meaningful learning begins with genuine connection. You bring energy, professionalism and a commitment to creating inclusive learning environments where every student feels supported to participate, grow and succeed.

You are passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles and physical wellbeing and enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional educational experiences. Whether in the classroom, on the sporting field or through cocurricular activities, you are committed to helping young people develop confidence, resilience and a sense of belonging. Ideally you will bring:

- Demonstrated experience teaching Health and Physical Education in a secondary school setting. Experience with Netball programs is essential.

- The ability to build positive and productive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.

- Strong knowledge of contemporary teaching, learning and assessment practices.

- A commitment to student wellbeing and a holistic approach to education.

- The capacity to contribute positively to the College's sporting and cocurricular programs.

- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

- Alignment with and support for the values, mission and Anglican ethos of All Saints' College.

It is essential that:

- You hold appropriate tertiary qualifications.

- You have, or can gain, current registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia.

- You have current clearance to work with young people via your Working with Children card.

Possession of Bronze Medallion qualifications would be highly desirable.
