About the role

A loving, busy family in Riverview is looking for a warm and experienced Casual Nanny to join their household and care for their two young children — a 3-year-old boy and 2-year-old girl. This role offers varied hours each week depending on the family's needs, and includes occasional full-time cover when their primary nanny is on leave. The role offers work-life balance, with the flexibility to fit around study, travel, or other commitments.

Regular hours:

- Sunday: 8:00am – 6:30pm

- Monday: 4:00pm – 9:00pm

- Thursday: 2:00pm – 9:00pm

- 22.5 guaranteed hours per week

There will also be the prospect for additional hours, including occasional weekday/daytime cover, evenings, weekends and potentially joining us on family trips away.

Key responsibilities

- Provide attentive, loving care for the two children

- Plan fun, age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities

- Support daily routines: naps, meals, and quiet time

- Prepare healthy snacks and meals for the children





- Light housekeeping related to the kids (tidying toys, laundry, etc.)

- Drive children to and from outings and playdates (valid driver's license required – vehicle provided)

- Communicate openly with parents about routines, development, and daily updates

About you

- Previous experience as a nanny or in a childcare role

- Current Working With Children Check and National Police Check

- First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

- Strong references from previous families

- A calm, positive, and playful attitude

- Great communication and organisation skills

- Flexibility and a proactive, team-player mindset

- A long-term outlook and genuine love for children

- Must love animals – the family has friendly indoor dogs and cats

- Valid driver's license required
