About the role

Hours: Full-time, 38 hours per week

Classification: True Enterprise Agreement 2026 – Level 5 - $53.89 hourly

True Relationships & Reproductive Health is seeking an experienced Project Lead – LARC Centre of Excellence to support the delivery of an important statewide initiative focused on improving access to long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) services across Queensland.

The LARC Centre of Excellence (CoE) is a national initiative focused on strengthening access to high-quality long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) care across Australia.



Eight specialist sexual and reproductive health organisations across Australia will operate as LARC Centres of Excellence, working collaboratively to build health workforce capability and support best-practice LARC care. The Project Lead will play an important role in shaping True’s implementation of the LARC Centre of Excellence in Queensland, coordinating project activities, partnerships and stakeholders to support the successful delivery of the initiative.

As the Project Lead – LARC Centre of Excellence at True, you will coordinate a range of interconnected project activities including clinical outreach, workforce training and education, stakeholder engagement, and service development. Working across True’s statewide network and with external health and community partners, you will contribute to strengthening provider capability and improving equitable access to reproductive healthcare, particularly for priority populations and communities.

In this important role, you will:

- Coordinate project delivery. Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of Centre of Excellence activities across multiple workstreams, maintaining project plans, schedules and documentation and monitoring progress against milestones and funding requirements.
- Be the key liaison with government agencies, Hospital and Health Services, Primary Health Networks, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations, Aboriginal Medical Services, healthcare providers and training partners.
- Coordinate the establishment, delivery and growth of LARC outreach services and training clinics across Queensland, including regional, rural and remote locations (travel required).
- Coordinate training activities, including logistics and participant engagement, working alongside nurse and medical educators and external training partners to build provider capability and sustainable access to LARC.
- Support accessible, innovative service models, including no out-of-pocket-cost services for priority populations and telehealth-enabled care, and strengthen referral pathways and continuity of care.
- Support strong project governance through high-quality project and funding reports, manage risks and issues in line with clinical governance requirements, and uphold safeguarding for children and vulnerable adults.

What we’re looking for





You’re a values-led project professional with strong project coordination and stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across diverse teams, organisations and locations. You will bring a collaborative approach, sound judgement and a commitment to culturally safe, inclusive and equitable service delivery.

You will bring:

- A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. public health, health promotion, nursing, allied health, project management or community development), or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience successfully leading large-scale, complex projects with significant organisational investment, multiple workstreams and high levels of accountability for budget, quality, risk and delivery, evaluation and reporting.
- Proven ability to build effective partnerships and communicate confidently across government, health, community and professional settings.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills, with sound judgement, the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and project requirements.
- Strong digital literacy and confidence working across projects, data and other digital systems.
- A commitment to culturally safe, inclusive and equitable service delivery, aligned with True's values, and the ability to work both independently and in dispersed, multidisciplinary teams.

Role requirements

- Current Queensland C Class driver’s license.
- Current Positive Notice Blue Card or registration with an approved regulated workforce
- Nationally Coordinated Police Check
- Ability and willingness to undertake regular travel as required to support project activities, stakeholder engagement, training and project delivery.
- Ability to work flexibly where required to support project, training and stakeholder activities.
