Express Wastewater Solutions is a family owned wastewater specialist. We look after homes and businesses from the Gold Coast to Gympie and west to Toowoomba. We're growing and need another reliable Service Technician to join the team servicing the Northern Moreton Bay/Sunshine Coast region.

This is a service role, not an installation role. You'll spend your days visiting customers, keeping their onsite sewage treatment systems running properly, and being the professional face of our business. If you've got mechanical aptitude, or a background in plumbing, irrigation, pool servicing, pumps or any field servicing, you'll pick this up quickly. We'll train you in the rest.

What a typical day looks like

- Heading out in your company vehicle to scheduled service visits across your run

- Servicing household sewage treatment plants: checking pumps, blowers, filters and alarms, cleaning components, and doing minor repairs and part replacements

- Taking water samples and testing them to council requirements

- Explaining to customers, in plain language, how their system is running and what they can do to improve results





- Completing service reports and compliance paperwork on the day

- Flagging bigger faults early so they get fixed properly

What you'll need

- Current driver's licence (with good driving history)

- Valuable mechanical aptitude and a hands-on attitude

- Confidence working independently in the field

- A professional, friendly manner with customers

- Physical fitness for outdoor manual work in all conditions

Nice to have, but not essential

- Experience with wastewater, plumbing, pumps or similar mechanical systems

- A QBCC licence relevant to wastewater or plumbing, or a willingness to work toward one
