We're looking for a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to guide our Junior Kindy room in delivering rich, play-based experiences that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), fostering curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning for every child. This is a permanent full-time position based in the beautiful suburb of Hamilton, within our charming heritage-listed centre that caters for up to 49 children.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and deliver a high-quality, inclusive, play-based educational program in the Junior Kindy room, aligned with the EYLF
- Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing in a safe and nurturing environment
- Guide and mentor fellow educators within your room, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture




- Utilise programming time to plan, document, and reflect on the educational program
- Build solid, trusting relationships with children, families, and the wider community
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare's values and educational philosophy
- Participate actively in ongoing professional and personal development

Job Requirements:

- Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA approved equivalent — essential for this role
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Mandatory Child Protection (Geccko) Course 1 & 2 — Course 3 & 4 optional but highly regarded
- A valid Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
- Previous experience in a lead educator or room leader role is highly regarded
