FSA Group is an ASX-listed business that specialises in Lending. We own several businesses including Azora, a high-growth non-bank lender.

We’re looking for an Financial & Tax Accountant to provide accurate and timely financial accounting, reporting and taxation support across the Group’s entities, trusts and tax-consolidated groups.

Your Responsibilities | How you will make a difference

- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management reports for multiple business entities.

- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and control reviews to maintain accurate records and compliance with accounting standards.

- Prepare and review consolidated financial information across multiple entities and special purpose vehicle trusts.

- Coordinate and support the preparation of year-end statutory financial reports, external audit activities and responses to external stakeholder information requests.

- Liaise with auditors, tax advisers and regulators on audit, review and compliance matters.

- Prepare, review and lodge monthly, quarterly and annual tax compliance obligations, including BAS, IAS, PAYG instalments, payroll tax reconciliations and fringe benefits tax returns.

- Prepare tax-effect accounting calculations, including current and deferred tax balances, tax provisions, supporting reconciliations and related financial statement disclosures. Prepare income tax returns and supporting workpapers for multiple tax consolidated groups.

- Monitor changes in taxation legislation and ensure ongoing compliance with the statutory, regulatory and taxation requirements applicable to the Group.

- Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies, variances and reporting issues promptly.

- Improve financial reporting processes,



controls and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.

- Provide financial analysis to support management decision-making, budgeting and business planning.

Your Skills & Experience | A little bit about you…

- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.

- CPA or CA qualification.

- Minimum 3 years' experience in a financial accounting or tax accounting role.

- Experience with SAP S4/HANA, and experience with Workday Adaptive Insights is highly regarded.

- Experience preparing tax-effect accounting calculations, income tax returns and supporting workpapers for tax consolidated groups, together with BAS, IAS, PAYG and FBT compliance obligations.

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

- Experience within financial services, professional services or a multi-entity environment highly regarded.

- Sound knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and financial reporting principles.

- Ability to interpret and apply Australian taxation legislation and regulatory guidance to the Group’s tax compliance and reporting obligations.

- Solid analytical and numerical skills

- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

- Exceptional time management skills. Ability to prioritise competing deadlines and manage multiple tasks
