The CSA Mine is located 11 kilometres north-west of Cobar, central western New South Wales. At 1.9 kilometres deep, it is one of Australia’s deepest underground mines and is Australia’s highest-grade copper mine.

We are proud to have recently joined Harmony Australasia. Harmony is the largest gold producer by volume in South Africa and is a significant operator of gold tailings retreatment facilities. CSA Mine has recently joined Harmony Australasia, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter. The acquisition underpins Harmony’s strategy to expand its Australasian footprint and establish a strong, diversified copper portfolio, complemented by the Eva Copper Mine Project in Queensland, currently under construction, and set to become the state’s largest open‑pit copper mine upon commissioning. In Papua New Guinea, Harmony owns and operates the Hidden Valley mine and owns 50% of the Tier 1 Wafi-Golpu copper-gold project. These assets are supported by the Harmony Australasia regional corporate office located in Milton, Brisbane.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Site Access Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site access and personnel control processes to ensure that only authorized individuals enter the site.

Working on a 5:2, 4:3 days roster, this position is available on a residential basis only.

Key responsibilities include supporting the day-to-day operation of access systems, assisting with planning personnel rosters, and organising coverage to maintain seamless site operations. The role involves collaborating with the team to uphold safety, security, and compliance standards by maintaining accurate, up-to-date systems, processes, and records aligned with site requirements.

This position is vital in fostering a secure environment and ensuring operational efficiency through diligent access management and record keeping.

About You:





To be successful, you will bring the following skills, experience and personal attributes:

- Demonstrated experience in administration, coordination or support roles within an operational environment.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.

- High level computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite.
Proven ability to maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity across multiple systems.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures and processes.

- Ability to communicate clearly with workers, supervisors, contractors and visitors.

- Ability to work independently while supporting a broader team environment.

- Experience working in a mining, industrial or high compliance environment.
