What You'll Be Doing

- Multi-outlet venue leadership — Running whole front-of-house venue operations across distinct trading formats (restaurant, café, and events), ensuring every space operates to a defined standard while developing venue leaders to manage with genuine authority.
- Commercial ownership & venue P&L; — Owning the venue's commercial performance, revenue,



labor targets, controllable costs, and stock control, actively acting on the financial numbers each week.
- Seasonal & weather-dependent trade — Managing rosters and labor models that flex dynamically with the forecast, calendar, and events load to execute peak trading periods successfully.
- Guest experience & service standards — Driving consistent service quality across all outlets, protecting review scores, and personally leading service recovery when needed.
- Team leadership & development — Developing outlet managers and supervisors through clear expectations, regular 1:1s, and building the next generation of hospitality leaders.
- Cross-functional partnerships — Working seamlessly with the Head Chef, culinary team, and group Events Operations so everyday trade and events run as one cohesive operation.
- Compliance & WHS — Maintaining complete operational oversight of NSW liquor licensing, RSA requirements, food safety standards, and WHS obligations across the site.

Who We're Looking For
- Senior leadership experience — Proven track record in senior venue management within premium, high-volume hospitality environments (multi-outlet, waterfront,



or events-heavy experience preferred).
- Commercial acumen — Full P&L; ownership with demonstrated results in revenue management, labor control, and cost management in variable trade.
- Technical proficiency — Experience with systems like SevenRooms (or similar reservation platforms) and workforce management tools like Tanda.
- Mindset & style — A calm, visible, organized, and approachable leadership presence under high-volume pressure.
- Qualifications & compliance — Current NSW RSA certificate, Food Safety Supervisor certification, and working knowledge of NSW liquor licensing and WHS.
- Flexibility — Availability to work in office across evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
