About the role

Parklands Resort Mudgee is seeking a Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office & Guest Services team on a casual basis. Based in Mudgee, NSW, this role is pivotal in creating memorable experiences for our guests from the moment they arrive. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our valued guests, setting the tone for their stay and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst allowing you to make a real difference in our guests' experiences at our beautiful resort.

Key responsibilities

- Welcoming guests upon arrival and managing the check-in process efficiently and courteously

- Providing comprehensive information about resort facilities, amenities, local attractions and activities

- Handling guest enquiries and requests with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach

- Processing reservations and managing the booking system accurately

- Assisting with check-out procedures and handling payment transactions

- Maintaining accurate guest records and ensuring confidentiality of personal information

- Coordinating with other departments to fulfil special requests and resolve guest issues promptly

- Maintaining a clean, welcoming and organised front office environment

- Providing support during peak periods and responding to guest emergencies or complaints with empathy

What we're looking for

- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage guests in a warm and professional manner

- Customer service experience in a hospitality or related industry

- Proficiency with computer systems and hotel management software (training provided)

- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work calmly under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously





- Problem-solving mindset with a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations

- Flexibility to work diverse shifts, including weekends and public holidays

- A positive attitude, team-oriented approach and willingness to support colleagues

- Preferably, previous experience in a front office or guest services role within a resort or hotel environment
