Woods & Co Recruitment are excited to be partnering with a leading Melbourne hospitality team for a major upcoming event, and we’re looking for experienced Chef de Partie-level chefs to join their kitchen brigade.

This is an opportunity to work in a high-energy, modern Asian kitchen, delivering quality dishes across a busy, high-volume event service. We’re looking for confident CDPs who are comfortable working at pace, take pride in their section and can hit the ground running as part of an experienced kitchen team.

What do you do?

- Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard across a modern Asian menu
- Complete mise en place and set up your section for service
- Deliver consistent, high-quality food throughout busy event service
- Manage your section efficiently during high-volume periods
- Maintain presentation, portion control and food quality
- Keep your section clean, organised and fully stocked




- Work closely with the wider kitchen brigade to ensure smooth service
- Follow all food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards

What do you need?

- Previous Chef de Partie (CDP) or equivalent experience
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification/industry experience
- Commercial kitchen experience, ideally in high-volume or event catering
- Solid food safety, hygiene and kitchen practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and available for the required event dates
