Brunel has partnered with one of Australia's leading infrastructure groups on an exciting opportunity for a Civil Project Engineer to join a $350M project in Northern Queensland.

The project forms part of a major 400MW development and includes a significant civil construction package covering earthworks, access roads, concrete works and supporting infrastructure.

Description

Working as part of the project team, you'll be involved across the planning and delivery of civil works, with a focus on keeping construction progressing safely, efficiently and to program.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing engineering support across active construction works
- Planning upcoming works and coordinating resources with the site team
- Working with subcontractors and suppliers to keep works progressing
- Assisting with procurement, variations, progress claims and project reporting
- Monitoring project costs, productivity and progress against targets
- Supporting quality requirements including ITPs, inspections and documentation
- Working closely with supervisors, engineers and project management to resolve site issues
- Contributing to a safe and positive site workplace

Profile

We're looking for a Civil Project Engineer with:

- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
- 3+ years' experience in civil construction
- Experience working across civil infrastructure, earthworks or similar projects




- Experience working with subcontractors and site-based teams
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- A practical approach and commitment to safety and quality
