Client Executive - Builders Warranty Team

This is an opportunity to develop expertise in a unique area of the insurance and construction industries, working closely with residential builders, industry stakeholders and insurer partners.
Builders Warranty Insurance is an essential requirement for residential construction. In this role, you'll help builders navigate the application and review process, provide guidance and support, and work with clients to help them achieve their business goals.
We're not necessarily looking for someone with existing builders warranty experience. This is a specialised field, and comprehensive training will be provided. Instead, we're looking for someone with robust communication skills, sound judgement, a customer-focused approach and a genuine interest in building relationships.
What you'll be doing
- Managing relationships with residential builders across South Australia and Western Australia.
- Guiding clients through warranty insurance applications, annual reviews and facility increase requests.
- Reviewing business and financial information to support insurer assessments.
- Collaborating closely with insurer partners regarding applications, referrals and underwriting requirements.
- Providing timely, professional and practical support to clients.
- Building and maintaining accurate client records.
- Working closely with colleagues to deliver outstanding client outcomes.
- Finding opportunities to connect clients with broader insurance solutions where appropriate.
- Building long-term relationships with clients and becoming a trusted point of contact.
What will help you succeed
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering a high level of service.
You'll likely bring:
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to build trust and rapport with a wide range of people.
- Sound judgement and a practical approach to problem solving.
- Confidence managing challenging conversations professionally and respectfully.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to balance competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute positively to the team.
- Curiosity, initiative and a desire to continually learn and improve.
- Confidence working with numbers and business information.
Experience
We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds, including:
- Insurance
- Banking and finance
- Customer service
- Administration
- Construction and building-related industries
- Professional services
- Accounting or bookkeeping
If you enjoy working with people, solving problems and building trusted relationships, we'd love to hear from you.
