Strathpine Aged Care are currently seeking Cleaners to join our team on a permanent part time basis.

The Cleaner will provide high-quality professional cleaning services to help maintain the highest possible standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the residence with a focus on maximising safety and minimising health risks for residents, visitors and staff at all times.

Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Cleaner will also be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Provide a timely and effective cleaning service that is responsive to the needs of residents and facility operations.
- Ensuring all cleaning activities are carried out safely, protecting both staff and residents, and comply with Workplace Health & Safety regulations—including the proper and safe handling of chemicals.
- Ensure a high standard of customer service when interacting with residents, resident representatives and staff.

About you
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

- Previous experience as a cleaner in an Aged Care Facility or similar (desirable).
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships, collaborate effectively within a team, and demonstrate a caring and compassionate approach when interacting with residents and their families.
- Demonstrated organisation and time management skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning products and secure chemical handling, storage, and disposal, along with a strong commitment to Workplace Health & Safety to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.

The successful applicant will be required to have the following:





- Willingness to obtain valid Police Check
- Australian/New Zealand residency or a valid working visa
