About the role
We're looking for an Electrical or Mechatronics Engineer to design, build, test and support the electrical, control and IoT systems in our products. You'll work across embedded microcontroller hardware and firmware, IoT and edge computing platforms including AI-capable hardware, sensor algorithms for reliable lift detection, power, motors and motor control, test and verification for small-batch production, and new product development and on-site support.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded microcontroller hardware and firmware
- Work with IoT and edge computing platforms, including AI-capable hardware
- Develop sensor algorithms for reliable lift detection
- Design and implement power, motors and motor control systems
- Conduct test and verification for small-batch production
- Support recent product development and on-site implementation
About you
- Degree in electrical, electronics or mechatronic engineering
- Over 2 years' experience designing or testing electronic products to high quality standards
- Strong embedded systems and sensor interface skills
- Knowledge of motors and motor control
- Strong maths and problem-solving ability
- A keen learner who keeps up with new technology
- IoT, edge AI or heavy-industry experience is a bonus
