Mercer Valve Co Inc.; is currently seeking the right persons for processing purchase orders, warehouse duties Inventory Control and other duties as required.

You will require a fork lift ticket and experience in warehouse / store man duties. The successful applicant will have excellent communication, phone, house keeping and computer skills, the ability to problem solve; be trustworthy and able to work unsupervised.

Previous experience with safety relief valves and or valves would be an advantage. You must possess a positive can do attitude and be willing to learn.

We are looking for someone who takes owner ship of situations, who can operate and flourish under pressure, with an ability to think on the fly, exercising their robust initiative, problem solving skills and time management skills to multitask effectively in a rapidly changing workload environment - you must be able to manage and prioritize the workload.

To be considered for this position you will possess the following attributes:

Mechanically intuitive , Service work, preferred but not essential

Have prior warehouse experience in a similar role.

Must have clean neat hand writing

With the ability to work with and integrate into a team environment.

Comfortable working independently whilst maintaining a strong and collaborative relationships with the larger Mercer Valve Team.

Experience preparing, delivery dockets, con notes, work orders, process purchase orders and warehouse duties.

Excellent Computer skills, with a solid working understanding of Excel / Word and Outlook.

Have a current, driver's License and forklift ticket

Attention to detail in respect of all documentation, trace-ability, and Quality Control

Experience with packing, shipping, receiving and dispatching goods

Maintain a clean safe work environment with the ability to follow procedures.
