Join the dynamic team at The Heart Group as a part time Medical Receptionist. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and coordinating the administrative operations of our busy medical practice.

(Please note, there may also be the opportunity for a full time position across our Bowral and Gregory Hill sites)

Key responsibilities include;

Greeting and welcoming patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and attended to

Scheduling appointments, handling enquiries and managing the patient booking system

Providing administrative support to the medical team, including filing, data entry and records management

Handling payments, processing claims and maintaining accurate financial records

Answering and directing incoming phone calls in a friendly and professional manner

Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive patient information

Successful candidates will require;





Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role within the healthcare industry

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, colleagues and external stakeholders

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Computer literacy and proficiency in using medical practice management software

A genuine passion for providing high-quality customer service and contributing to the overall success of the practice

Medical specialist reception experience is highly regarded
