Bike Mechanics Needed for Leading Micro-Mobility Client!

We are seeking detail-oriented Mechanics to assist the physical implementation of a critical technology/system upgrade across our vehicle fleet. You will be working in a small team environment with ongoing roles available. This role is ideal for bike mechanics that want to broaden and build their career experience in a highly flexible position. Teamwork is at the heart of our operation, as mechanics work together to identify critical parts of our product lines that can be improved and ensure the safe working condition of our fleet.

Role: Bike Mechanic

Hours: 7am - 3pm, Mon-Fri

Pay rate: $33.85p/h + super

What you’ll do:

- Ensure operational compliance and safety of all electric vehicles




- Perform a variety repairs from basic maintenance to complex electronic parts replacement
- Please note that this role requires both in-field and in-warehouse work.
- Maintain and abide by safety and hygiene standards within the warehouse
- Maximize the number of operational vehicles by efficiently completing tasks assigned
- Identify issues and find creative solutions to overcome obstacles
- Safely operate a pallet jack and/or push cart on a frequent basis

About you:

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Australian Drivers Licence (preferred)
- Some experience as a mechanic in the automotive/transportation/bike industry highly preferred
- Ability to lift up to 30kg on a frequent basis required
- Ability to operate a mobile device including having knowledge of in app-based workflows. iOS experience preferred
- Good communicator with the ability to read and follow instructions and communicate clearly within a team environment
- Eagerness to learn, a excellent attitude and a natural ability to work well with others - teamwork is key to success!
