Casual Yard Operator – General Building Materials

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Casual Yard Operator to join our team. This is a hands-on role working with a range of general building materials, with ongoing casual work available for the right candidate .

The role will involve keeping the yard organized, loading and unloading building materials, assisting customers and drivers, and operating machinery as required.

Key responsibilities:

- Loading and unloading trucks and deliveries
- Moving and organizing general building materials around the yard
- Operating forklifts and other yard equipment where required
- Preparing materials and orders for customers
- Keeping the yard clean, tidy and safe
- Assisting with stock movement and general yard duties
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures
- Working as part of a small,



friendly team

About you:

- Reliable, punctual and hard-working
- Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical tasks
- Previous yard, warehouse, construction or building materials experience is an advantage
- Forklift license is desirable
- Good attention to detail and a solid focus on safety
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willing to get stuck in
