Collinsville Open Cut is Queensland's oldest existing coal mine, with a long history of producing quality metallurgical and thermal coal for export markets and a bright future. nReporting to the Senior Mining Engineer we are recruiting for an experienced Mining Engineer - Mid-Term Planning to join Technical Services team. n
n

With a long life of mine, there are numerous opportunities for a medium-term engineer to deliver significant value, gain exposure to the diverse challenges/opportunities, work closely with multiple stakeholders and fast-track one's own skill development.

nIn this role, you will: n
n

n
n
- Drive the development and optimisation of mid-term plans.
n
n
- Develop safe and robust stage plans using Maptek Vulcan (Similar software experience is valued)
n
n




- Assist with monthly scheduling using SPRY. Opportunity to grow and develop SPRY skills
n
n
- EOM reporting and reconciliation
n
n
- Ensure alignment with business objectives, operational efficiency and resource maximisation
n
n

n
nAbout You: n
n

n
n
- Degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
n
n
- Experience in open cut coal mine planning.
n
n
- Proficient in mine planning software.
n
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
n
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
n
n
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience is a plus.
n
n
