The Role n
n n
nDue to continued business growth, they need a Senior Design Engineer to join their diverse and dynamic company. They are looking for someone with excellent analysis and communication skills and an enthusiasm to learn.n
n n
nReporting to the Associates & Directors, you will assist on challenging projects from inception to completion and foster and maintain a solid client relationship.n
n n
nYou will work beside experienced ASP3 Designers who are either ex-utility or have many years of experience as ASP3 Designers, thriving as part of a dynamic team of engineers. You will provide a full range of supply authority design solutions for building services and infrastructure projects.n

The Duties and Responsibilities n
n

n
- Planning and scoping of ASP3 high voltage projects for a range of clients (residential, commercial, universities,



schools, utilities, industrial, mining, health, and defence)
n
- Build relationships with internal and external clients
n
- Management and delivery of electrical projects from concept thru design and construction
n
- Lead work winning in the private HV market (desirable)
n
- Negotiate with supply authorities; obtaining approvals and certifications
n
- Attend client meetings & site inspections
n
- Ad-hoc tasks, as requested by the Group Leader
n

The Skills & Experience n
n

n
- Degree-qualified engineer (must be recognised by Engineers Australia)
n
- Local experience working in a design consultancy or similar
n
- Preferred experience within the building services consultancy environment
n
- A team player with excellent communication skills
n
- The ability to complete Authority design (Ausgrid and Endeavour minimum) and analysis of substations, new network connection projects, asset relocation projects, maximum demand calculations, compliance and certification
n
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
n
- Strong experience with AutoCAD
n
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
n
