We're working with a high profile property and professional services firm. They're after a Senior Technical Analyst to take technical ownership of two core platforms: their finance and billing system, and their document management platform.

n

You’ll sit within IT and work closely with Finance, Knowledge and the wider business. Day to day, you're the go-to person for how these systems run, how they're set up and how they get better.

What you’ll be responsible for: n

- Owning the admin, configuration and day to day running of the finance/billing and document management platforms
n
- Handling escalations for incidents and service requests
n
- Turning business requirements into user stories, specs and a prioritised backlog
n
- Leading upgrades, enhancements and integrations, including UAT and release
n
- Keeping data clean, controls tight and audit trails in order
n
- Managing vendors and working with the reporting team so the numbers downstream can be trusted
n

You'll own the roadmap for both platforms, not just the support queue. That's the experience that sets you up for a Senior Technical BA or Product Owner move down the track, and the business is open to growing the role in that direction.

What you’ll need to have to be considered: n

n
- 3 to 5 years supporting and owning enterprise business applications in a large professional services setting
n
- Hands on experience with finance, ERP or billing platforms (e.g. Dynamics 365, Oracle, SAP, TechnOne or similar)
n
- Document management experience (e.g. SharePoint, OpenText, M-Files, Objective or similar)
n
- A good understanding of how client, billing, revenue and document data connect, plus exposure to integrations between systems
n
- Working SQL, Power BI or SSRS, and strong Excel skills
n
- Comfortable writing user stories and specs, and explaining them to both tech teams and senior finance stakeholders
n
