A rare opportunity exists for a motivated Financial Accountant to join the Family Office of a well-known retailer. The office manages the affairs of various family members across a wide range of investments and asset classes. This is a full-time, office-based role located in the heart of the CBD reporting directly to a Financial Controller and working with a team of 8 others. The role is varied and will offer direct exposure to both trading businesses and property assets.

Key responsibilities
n
Full responsibility for maintaining accounting records and preparation of related management reports.
n
Liaison with and support of Business Managers.
n
BAS / sundry tax management.
n
Company secretarial work.
n
Maintenance of tenancy schedules and management of related leases.
n
Ad hoc work as and when required
n
About you
n
CA/CPA qualified with at least 5 years' relevant experience.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
n
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
n
