About The Role: Build your long-term career in the engineering industry while completing a Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication (Heavy Fabrication Stream). You'll receive hands‑on training from experienced tradespeople and develop practical skills in welding, fabrication, cutting, grinding and metalwork within a qualified workshop environment.

Duties May Include

- Examining and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Welding components using a variety of welding techniques
- Fabricating and assembling metal products and structures
- Cutting, grinding and shaping metal materials
- Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Operating welding equipment and fabrication machinery
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Assisting qualified tradespeople with fabrication projects

Location: Mooroopna, VIC

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00am – 3:30pm, Friday 7:00am – 1:00pm

About You





- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with the right to work in Australia
- Completion of Year 10 High School
- Genuine interest in welding, fabrication and engineering
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Good attention to detail and practical problem‑solving skills
- Drivers Licence desirable but not essential
- Reliable, punctual and committed to completing a four‑year apprenticeship
