Job Title: Civil Engineering Internship

Role Responsibilities

- Assist senior engineers in designing civil engineering projects.
- Utilise AutoCAD to create detailed technical drawings and plans.
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and requirements.
- Support the project management team with scheduling and logistics.
- Participate in project documentation and reporting.
- Help prepare project cost estimates and budgets.
- Collaborate with architects and other engineers to ensure project efficacy.
- Research materials and methods for use in projects.
- Prepare presentations for project proposals and updates.
- Attend project meetings to discuss progress and concerns.
- Assist in environmental assessments and compliance monitoring.
- Maintain project records and files accurately.
- Engage in professional development opportunities including workshops.
- Contribute ideas for process improvements and innovation.
- Network with professionals in the civil engineering field.

Qualifications

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and other design software.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Detail‑oriented approach to tasks and projects.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

- Knowledge of project management methodologies (preferred).

Work Workplace

This position is on‑site in Australia, providing an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a professional civil engineering setting. Interns will work closely with experienced engineers and contribute to genuine projects that enhance both professional growth and technical skills.
