Job Description

- Sound experience in a data modeller and/or similar role and significant years of experience in IT
n
- Solid experience leading the creation of data model and managing the project data modelling delivery
n
- Demonstrated experience in Azure or other cloud-based data and analytics data platform
n
- Proven experience and competency in use of Erwin as the data modelling tool.
n
- Broad expertise across data modelling capabilities, principles and policies.
n

Skills:

n

n
- Extensive understanding of Logical Data Models, Physical Data Models and Dimension Models and ability to deliver Logical Models and Physical Designs.
n
- Intimate knowledge of data warehousing with respect to various data methodologies, such as Data Vault, 3rd Normal Form, Kimball.
n
- Strong knowledge and experienced on industry reference data model e.g., Teradata-FSLDM, IBM-Industry financial or utilities model (or any other industry reference model)



and have used industry data model to deliver data model for a company.
n
- A deep understanding and experience of enterprise up-to-date data architecture patterns and processes
n
- Good understanding in creation and management of data management principles, data modelling and data naming standards.
n
- Suitable understanding of data ingestion, data consumption, data access & authorisation, ETL design and framework knowledge.
n
- Clear written and verbal communications; able to communicate with a wide range of people and to gather requirements, analytics use cases.
n

Collaborating with stakeholders, including business analysts, data engineers, and developers to gather requirements refine data models
