One of South Australia’s largest and longest-established concrete cutting and drilling businesses is looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead its day-to-day field operations.

n

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands construction, knows how to coordinate people and jobs, and can keep a busy operation moving safely, efficiently and profitably.

The Role n

You’ll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, coordinating our concrete cutting and drilling crews, managing job scheduling and responding to the inevitable changes that happen throughout the day.

You’ll work closely with the business owners, administration team, clients and field staff to ensure jobs are properly planned, crews have what they need, and work is completed safely and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Coordinating and scheduling daily jobs and field crews
n
- Supervising and supporting concrete cutters and operators
n
- Allocating labour, vehicles and equipment
n
- Communicating with clients, builders, supervisors and site contacts
n




- Reviewing upcoming work and planning resources
n
- Managing changes, urgent jobs and operational issues throughout the day
n
- Ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
n
- Monitoring productivity and operational performance
n
- Supporting quoting, job preparation and operational administration
n
- Helping develop systems and processes as the business continues to grow
n
- Building a strong culture of accountability, teamwork and professionalism
n

About You n

You’ll suit this role if you’re practical, organised and confident making decisions in a quick-moving construction environment.

n

Experience in concrete cutting and drilling would be highly regarded, but we’re also interested in experienced supervisors from civil construction, trades, demolition, construction services or similar operational environments.

n

Most importantly, you’ll need to be someone who can lead people, solve problems and get things done.
