SQL Database Administrator (DBA) – NV1 Clearance n

We are seeking an experienced SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to support and maintain secure enterprise database environments.

n

This role will suit a hands-on DBA with robust Microsoft SQL Server experience who is comfortable working within complex ICT environments.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Administer, maintain and support Microsoft SQL Server databases
n
- Monitor database performance, availability and capacity
n
- Undertake database backups, restores, patching and upgrades
n
- Troubleshoot database incidents and performance issues
n
- Support database security, access controls and compliance requirements
n
- Assist with database migrations, deployments and environment improvements
n
- Work closely with infrastructure,



application and development teams
n

Skills & Experience nn
- Strong experience as a SQL Server DBA
n
- Experience with SQL Server administration, monitoring and performance tuning
n
- Strong knowledge of backup, recovery and high-availability solutions
n
- Experience troubleshooting complex database issues
n
- Understanding of database security and access management
n
- Experience working within enterprise or government ICT environments will be highly regarded
n

Mandatory Requirement nn
- Current Australian Government NV1 Security Clearance
n
