About the Role n

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Diesel Fitter to join our maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety-focused tradesperson who enjoys working in a fast-paced workshop workplace and takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance outcomes.

Responsibilities Key Responsibilities n

n
- Perform scheduled maintenance, breakdown repairs, and fault diagnosis on heavy mobile and fixed plant to maximise equipment reliability and availability.
n
- Supervise and provide leadership, guidance, and technical support to tradespersons and other maintenance personnel.
n
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in compliance with company procedures, statutory requirements, and relevant regulations, while identifying and managing workplace risks.
n
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the workshop and work areas, and complete required maintenance documentation, including worksheets, oil sampling, and daily records.
n
- Actively participate in safety initiatives, including pre-starts,



toolbox talks, maintenance meetings, shift handovers, and incident investigations to support a strong safety culture.
n

Qualifications About You: n

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

n

n
- Relevant Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment or Diesel Fitter trade qualification.
n
- Experience maintaining underground mining equipment, particularly heavy mobile plant.
n
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills, with knowledge of auto electrical systems and the ability to interpret schematics.
n
- Current manual driver's licence and First Aid & CPR qualification.
n
- A strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and working effectively in a team environment.
n
