nRole Summary n
n

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Finance Manager will take ownership of the finance function and play a key role in supporting business performance through accurate reporting, commercial insights and strong financial management.
n This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working closely with operations and being involved in the day-to-day running of the business. The role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, cashflow management, costing, compliance and process improvement, while also providing the opportunity to contribute to strategic decision-making.
n The successful candidate will become a trusted advisor to the Managing Director, helping drive improved visibility, stronger commercial outcomes and ongoing business growth.

nKey Responsibilities n

- Prepare monthly management reporting, forecasting and financial analysis
n
n
- Manage cashflow,



budgeting and financial planning activities
n
n
- Oversee payroll, BAS, GST and statutory compliance requirements
n
n
- Drive costing accuracy, margin analysis and profitability reporting
n
n
- Improve financial reporting, controls and business processes
n
n
- Support operational decision-making through meaningful commercial insights
n
n
- Liaise with external accountants, advisors and key stakeholders
n
n

n
nSkills & Experience n
n

n
n
- Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Management Accountant or similar role
n
n
- Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
n
n
- Strong understanding of costing, inventory and WIP environments
n
n
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
n
n
- Commercially minded with strong analytical capability
n
n
- Hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail
n
n
- Strong communication skills and ability to partner with operational stakeholders
n
n
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification highly regarded
n
n
