About the Role n

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Subsea Engineer to contribute to their offshore projects, with a base in the vicinity of Queenstown . This role demands expertise in the design, installation, and operation of subsea systems essential for offshore energy production. You will work on complex projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and offshore personnel to ensure the successful execution of subsea infrastructure development and maintenance. This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to be at the forefront of offshore engineering innovation and execution.

Key Responsibilities n

- Design, analysis, and specification of subsea equipment, including pipelines, structures, and xmas trees.
n
- Develop installation procedures and support offshore execution of subsea projects.
n
- Conduct technical reviews and risk assessments for subsea systems and operations.
n
- Liaise with vendors, fabricators, and offshore contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
n
- Monitor subsea asset performance and troubleshoot operational issues.
n
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes,



standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements nn
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Subsea Engineering , with a focus on offshore oil and gas projects.
n
- Strong knowledge of subsea system design, fluid dynamics, and structural analysis.
n
- Proficiency with relevant engineering software and simulation tools.
n
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline.
n
- Experience managing subsea projects or interfaces.
n
- Willingness to travel and potentially work on offshore platforms as needed, with a base supporting operations from the Eastern Cape .
