Contract: ASAP – 6 January 2027
Rate: $800–$1,000 per day + Super
Hours: 40 hours per week | Maximum 8 hours per day

APG Workforce is seeking an experienced Asset, Maintenance or Project Engineer to join Transport for NSW in Tweed Heads West.

n

This is a specialist asset management role focused on improving asset data, maintenance plans and work orders within a computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) .

n

We are interested in hearing from engineers with backgrounds in asset management, maintenance, reliability engineering, infrastructure maintenance or engineering systems . Experience with SAP/SAP S/4HANA is highly regarded; however, candidates with strong experience using other CMMS/EAM platforms such as Maximo will also be considered.

About the Role n

Working within Transport for NSW's Networks and Assets environment, you will support the setup and improvement of maintenance information for tunnel assets.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Reviewing, cleansing and structuring existing asset and maintenance data.
n
- Developing and improving asset maintenance plans.
n
- Creating, reviewing and improving maintenance work orders.
n
- Supporting the setup and management of asset information within SAP S/4HANA .
n
- Identifying gaps and opportunities to improve asset data quality and usability.
n
- Working with engineers, maintenance teams and technical specialists to ensure asset information supports operational requirements.
n
- Supporting continuous improvement of asset management and maintenance processes.
n

About You n

You may currently be working as an Asset Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Reliability Engineer, Project Engineer, Asset Management Engineer or Engineering Systems/CMMS specialist .

n

To be considered, you will ideally have:

n

n
- Engineering experience within an asset management, maintenance, reliability or infrastructure environment .
n
- Hands‑on experience with a CMMS or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system .
n
- Experience working with asset registers, maintenance plans, preventative maintenance, work orders or maintenance master data .
n
- Experience reviewing, cleansing or manipulating engineering/asset data.
n




- SAP PM/EAM or SAP S/4HANA experience is highly desirable , but strong experience with another CMMS/EAM platform will also be considered.
n
- Strong Excel/data analysis skills and excellent attention to detail.
n
- The ability to work effectively with engineering, maintenance, operational and systems stakeholders.
n
- A four‑year Engineering degree (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical or related discipline) from an Australian university or equivalent overseas qualification .
n
- A current Australian driver's licence.
n
