Alan Wong & Associates Due to a rapid growth, a medium-sized accounting and business advisory services practice located in Indooroopilly is now recruiting one tax accountant with at least 2 to 4 years previous experience to join the team in full time roles.

Task & responsibilities Your Roles would cover the following (but are not limited to):

n

n
- Preparation of income Tax Returns and Financial Statements (Individual, Company, Trust, Partnership and SMSF)
n
- Preparation of Activity Statements, FBT Returns and Payroll Tax Returns
n
- Clients contact to ensure their taxation obligations are met
n
- Bookkeeping and data entries
n
- Day to day administrative works and payroll
n
- Liaise and contact with relevant taxation and government authorities
n

n

Qualification & experience

n

n
- Tertiary Accounting Qualifications
n




- CA/CPA qualified or studying towards Professional Accounting Body
n
- Experience in the preparation of Financial Statements and Tax Returns min 2 years
n
- Excellent knowledge of accounting and taxation legislations
n
- Excellent XERO/MYOB/BGL knowledge
n
- Experience dealing with medical professionals is advantageous
n

The successful candidate will demonstrate great enthusiasm and genuine interest in Taxation & Accounting, attention to details, commitment and desire to learn. Good presentation and excellent communication skills together with strong computer literacy are essential.
