About the Role

We are seeking a passionate, motivated, and experienced Centre Director to lead our dedicated team. This is an exciting chance for a strong leader who is committed to delivering high-quality outcomes for children, supporting and mentoring educators, and driving continuous improvement across the service.

As Centre Director, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, build positive relationships with families and the community, and inspire a positive and collaborative team culture.

The successful applicant will be an approachable and supportive leader with excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, and a genuine passion for early childhood education and care.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

The successful applicant will possess:

- An approved Early Childhood qualification (Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, as approved by ACECQA).
- Previous experience in a leadership role as a Director within an Early Childhood Education and Care setting
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management qualifications (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement).
- Current Child Protection Training and Sound knowledge of Child Safe Standards and safeguarding practices.
- A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standard (NQS), Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and support a team of educators to achieve high-quality outcomes for children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, educators, and community stakeholders.
- Experience with compliance, quality improvement planning, and service management.
- Solid organisational and time-management skills
