ACADEMIC SYSTEMS & ANALYTICS OFFICER

Full Time Term Time

POSITION PURPOSE

The Academic Systems and Analytics Officer provides administrative, systems and analytical support to enhance student learning outcomes, engagement, retention and qualification completion.

The role is responsible for maintaining and monitoring academic and learning systems and delivering accurate data, reporting and dashboards to support evidence-based decisions making across the College. This includes the collection and analysis of student achievement, attendance, engagement and intervention data, with a focus on monitoring student growth and identifying trends that inform academic and pastoral support.

Working closely with the Director of Learning Systems and Student Analytics and the Head of Careers and VET, the position maintains records and documentation relating to qualifications and certificate courses delivered within the College’s scope of registration,



monitors student progress towards completion, and supports compliance and reporting requirements.

The role contributes to the effective use of data and learning systems to support strategic and operational priorities across the College.

These directions will align with, and support, the vision, mission and strategic plan of the college and align with touchstones embedded in the Charter for Catholic Schools in the Edmund Rice Tradition.

Term-Time Employment

This position is a term-time role, meaning employees work during the school term and are not required to work during designated student holiday periods.

ABOUT YOU

Valid (or ability to obtain) Working with Children Blue Card.

Certificate IV in Business, Information Technology, Data Management, Educational Administration or a related field; or demonstrated experience in learning systems administration, educational data management or analytics support.

Experience using information, management and reporting systems.

High level organisational and administrative skills.

Demonstrated ability to produce accurate reports and manage data with attention to detail.

Working with Children

Applicants must possess (or be eligible to obtain) and maintain a current Working with Children Check - Blue Card Queensland or be registered with and maintain registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
