As a Communications Partner , you'll work on a diverse range of projects that make a visible impact across our region. From community engagement initiatives and major projects to media, digital content and campaigns, you'll have the opportunity to build your skills, broaden your experience and help tell the stories that matter.

This is an exciting role for a proactive communicator who enjoys variety, building relationships and finding creative ways to connect with people. - Partnering with internal teams to develop and deliver strategic communication and stakeholder engagement initiatives across a diverse range of Council projects and services
- Creating compelling content across media, digital, social, advertising and community engagement channels that informs and connects with our community.
- Building trusted relationships with stakeholders, community groups, media representatives and project teams to achieve positive communication outcomes
- Identifying opportunities to tell great stories,



showcase Council's impact and elevate the profile of the region through creative and innovative communications
- Working as part of a supportive, high-performing team that values collaboration, learning and a genuine connection to the community we serve

What you'll bring

To thrive in this role, you will need:

- A Diploma in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced communications, media, marketing or public relations environment
- Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills, with an ability to tailor communications to different audiences
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence and provide communication advice.
- Demonstrated experience creating and managing digital content, websites and social media platforms.

We would also love you to have:

- Experience in designing and implementing stakeholder engagement programs or activities.
- Experience in media management including ability to facilitate positive media opportunities.

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $91,698 to $106,566 plus superannuation.
