Mates Food & Beverage is about to take the market by storm and we’re looking for the best sales guns in town to join in the fun.

Mates is a collection of powerhouse brands that are joining forces to build an unmissable presence in the independent supermarket and Horeca channels.

Beverages, chocolate and coffee brands coming together to win, as mates.

Mates is a new entity founded by the team behind Quest Beverages – Calm & Stormy mineral water, Thrills brewed soda and Flippa juices. We’ve been chatting to our mates in the start‑up food and beverage industry and found we all have the same challenge. We’ve got outstanding products, cool brands, but just need to get out and talk to more customers.

That’s where you come in. Work directly with a group of founders to help us grow our brands. Win new business. Build presence in stores. Develop great relationships.

About the role

- Win new business with the best independent grocers, speciality retailers, cafes and sandwich shops
- Build relationships with key retail stakeholders
- Brand Ambassador, introducing our brands to retailers and the broader market
- Fight for presence for our brands on the best shelf, in the best fridges




- Onboard customers to seamless ordering system
- Track progress in an easy‑to‑use CRM
- Be our eyes and ears in the market, feeding back directly into the founders.

About you

- Proven experience in food and beverage sales
- Experience across FMCG, grocery and/or Horeca sales
- Motivated by winning new business
- Established relationships across town
- Motivated, self‑starter with great energy
- Hungry to learn and progress
- Have a car, license and phone
- Full‑time employment with car allowance. Or Part‑time for someone with great experience looking for some flexibility to fit around life.
