About the Role

Linx Port Services is looking for a motivated payroll professional who can hit the ground running in this full time 6-month contract prospect. As a Payroll Officer you will assist with the end-to-end processing of payroll for employees across multiple sites. Working closely with HR, Finance, operational leaders, and employees, you'll help ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and an exceptional employee experience through the effective use of Dayforce software.

What You'll Be Doing

- Assist with the end-to-end processing of weekly payrolls, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Maintain employee payroll records in Dayforce, including employee lifecycle changes such as new starters, transfers, promotions and terminations.
- Review and resolve payroll exceptions, discrepancies, timesheet queries and leave transactions to ensure data integrity and compliance.




- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, payroll tax, superannuation and company policies and procedures.

What You'll Bring

- Minimum 5 years' payroll administration experience.
- Strong experience using Dayforce Payroll and Workforce Management modules.
- Experience within logistics, ports, stevedoring or industrial environments preferred.
- Sound understanding of Australian Payroll legislation and compliance obligations.
- Knowledge of payroll tax, workers compensation and superannuation administration.
- Advanced attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
