Qualitative Data Analyst (APS5/6 Equivalent) – Disability Supports

The Essentials

Role: 6-month casual contract (up to 37.5 hrs/week) with a possible 18-month extension.

Locations: Hubs in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, or Sydney.

Start: Immediate start required.

What You’ll Do

Analyse: Code and organise structured/unstructured qualitative data using tools like NVivo.

Discover: Identify themes, mitigate bias, and synthesise findings from public consultations.

Report: Create punchy summary documents, charts, and visualisations for executive leadership.

Process: Transcribe audio and video submissions and refine survey content.

What You Bring

Solid expertise in qualitative research methodologies and thematic analysis.

Hands‑on proficiency in QDA software (NVivo or similar).

Excellent analytical and report‑writing skills.

Highly Desirable: Background in health/disability research or government advisory.

You must be an Australian Citizen and willing to undertake a national police check.
