Lutheran School Wagga Wagga is an Independent Christian School with 330 students. Our employee community is a passionate and dedicated team, committed to shaping faithful hearts and curious minds for a life of purpose.We now invite applications for a Primary Teacher who will commence in January 2027. This is a 12-month position with the possibility of ongoing employment. We’re looking for a classroom teacher who knows how to genuinely connect with students and has a passion for teaching that translates far beyond the classroom.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Demonstrate, develop, and maintain effective teaching practices and positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Contribute actively to a collaborative skilled culture focused on reflection, improvement and shared practice.
- Collaborativly develop, design and implement curriculum programs using the NSW curriculum and Christian Studies Curriculum Framework.
- Evaluate curriculum effectiveness, assess and monitor student learning to inform planning, and report outcomes to students, parents, and the community.
- Willingness to support the Christian ethos of Lutheran School
- Create a nurturing, ordered, and learner-centred environment that supports student engagement and achievement.

To be successful in this role you must have:

- Excellent written,



verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact confidently and sensitively with staff, parents and students
- A current NSW Education Teacher registration (NESA)
- Teaching experience preferable
- A current First Aid Certificate
- A current NSW Working with Children Check
- As a teacher of Christian Studies, a willingness to attain the accreditation required by Lutheran Education.
