Quest Melbourne Airport is looking for an experienced, motivated and hands‑on Onsite Duty Manager to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Guest Service Agent (GSA) or Front Office professional looking to take the next step into a leadership role.

You will be trusted to manage day‑to‑day operations, make decisions independently and take ownership of the guest experience. This is a hands‑on position — ideal for someone who enjoys being visible on the floor, solving problems and making things happen.

The Role:

Working a 5-day rotating roster, predominantly afternoon/evening shifts, you will be responsible for:

- Delivering exceptional guest service from check‑in through to departure
- Managing reservations via phone, online and in‑person enquiries
- Handling guest requests and issues confidently and independently
- Driving upselling and revenue opportunities
- Operating the hotel airport shuttle
- Serving alcohol and ensuring RSA requirements are met
- Maintaining the presentation of reception and public areas
- Supporting and guiding junior team members when required
- Taking responsibility for after‑hours guest calls and requests 7 days a week
- Ensuring smooth hotel operations and a positive guest experience

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone who is confident, reliable and enjoys taking ownership.

You will ideally have:

- 3+ years’ experience in hospitality, hotels or customer service
- Solid Front Office / GSA experience, preferably within a hotel environment




- The confidence to work independently and make operational decisions
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
- A full Victorian Driver Licence – essential
- A current Victorian RSA, or willingness to obtain one before commencing
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and a rotating roster
- A professional, positive and guest‑focused approach

This is an onsite role. Accommodation is provided, and the successful candidate will be required to reside onsite and be available to attend after‑hours guest calls and requests 7 nights a week.
