Wiseway Logistics (WWG) is an ASX-listed, fast-growing international freight forwarding company with a global footprint. We have eight offices across Australia, with international operations in New Zealand, China, Singapore and the USA. We are a licensed customs broker with custom‑bonded warehouses.

Due to continued business growth and an expanding workload, we are seeking an experienced Imports Operations Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis.

The Role:

As an Imports Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day import operations and provide support and guidance to the team to ensure shipments are processed efficiently, accurately and in accordance with company procedures and compliance requirements.

You will be responsible for:

- Supervising and supporting the Imports Operations team in daily activities
- Coordinating and overseeing import shipments from arrival through to delivery
- Preparing and reviewing customs and import documentation
- Lodging air and sea cargo automation
- Liaising with clients, carriers, ABF, DAFF and other relevant stakeholders
- Managing and resolving client enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinating with clients and internal departments to ensure smooth shipment movement
- Arranging cargo deliveries and following up on delivery status
- Managing and monitoring bonded warehouse requirements
- Supporting Customs Brokers with import clearance activities
- Reviewing documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Monitoring team workloads, priorities and deadlines
- Providing guidance and assistance to team members where required
- Identifying and resolving operational issues and escalating matters to management when required




- Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and within required timeframes
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant legislation
- Following all WHS and compliance requirements
- Maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting with process improvements and improving operational efficiency
- Completing ad‑hoc duties and tasks as required by management

To be successful, you will need to have:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in freight forwarding, with strong experience in imports operations
- Previous experience in an Imports Supervisor, Senior Imports Officer or similar supervisory role
- Robust understanding of import freight forwarding processes
- Experience with customs documentation and import clearance procedures
- EDI experience
- Strong knowledge of air and sea freight operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage competing workloads
- Ability to supervise, support and work effectively within a team
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
- Good computer skills and experience working with freight forwarding systems
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
