We are seeking passionate, driven, and experienced Duty Managers to help lead our team and deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

About the Role

As a Duty Manager, you'll be a hands-on leader responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel while inspiring your team to deliver outstanding service every shift.

Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will play a key role in leading staff, maintaining service standards, driving guest satisfaction, and supporting the continued success of this exciting venue.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

- Leading hotel operations across bar, gaming, restaurant, and function areas
- Motivating, mentoring, and developing team members
- Ensuring exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction
- Managing guest feedback, enquiries, and complaints professionally
- Maintaining compliance with liquor, gaming,



workplace health and safety, and venue policies
- Assisting with staff performance management and training
- Supporting rostering, stock control, and operational efficiency initiatives
- Working closely with department leaders to ensure seamless operations
- Assisting the Hotel Manager in achieving business and financial objectives

About You

You are an experienced hospitality leader who thrives in a busy venue environment and enjoys developing high-performing teams.

To Be Successful You Will Have:

- Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Supervisor, or similar leadership role within hospitality
- Formal hospitality qualifications and a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience, or a minimum of 3 years' relevant industry experience
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision‑making abilities
- Sound understanding of liquor licensing, gaming, compliance, and workplace health and safety requirements
- Experience with venue management systems (Wiredly experience highly regarded)
- Availability to work flexible rotating rosters, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Essential Licences & Certifications

- Current RSA
- Current RSG
- Current RMLV
- Approved Manager Licence (or willingness to obtain)

Highly Regarded

- Gaming and Keno experience
- Experience in large-format, high-volume hospitality venues
