Job Description

Provide healthcare to a close-knit community in FNQ. March 2026 ongoing dates - min 3 week blocks Monday to Friday only, no oncall!

MMM7 location - eligible for WIP payments Conditions: You'll work as part of a supportive team of nurses and Aboriginal Health Practitioners, providing culturally appropriate primary healthcare in a community-focused setting. The dates are from 14 Sep 2026 to 18 Jun 2027 Hours are 8:30am - 430pm Monday to Friday only.

You are not required to be on call afterhours or over the weekend. Napranum, meaning 'meeting place', is located 819km north west of Cairns on the western side of the Cape York Peninsula - 15min from Weipa, with shops, services and cafes. Proficiency in Communicare is preferred but training can be provided.

Credentials: FRACGP/FACRRM. Specialist Registration with AHPRA. Cultural awareness training preferred.
