As Club Manager, you will own the day-to-day success of Saunday Narrabeen. You will lead the Club Hosts and cleaning team, create a welcoming and unpretentious member experience, keep operations safe and smooth, and build genuine local awareness. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is equally comfortable on the floor with members, coaching a team, solving operational problems and building community partnerships.

Key responsibilities

Build a founding community that feels like a club, not a gym - turning first visits into lasting member habits.

Lead from the floor, delivering a warm, personal and safe experience for members and first-time guests.

Create and host community events, cohort sessions, rituals and partner activations that grow belonging and referrals.

Recruit, train, roster and develop a high-performing team of Club Hosts.

Run the club day to day, including staffing, bookings, capacity, equipment, stock, cleanliness and supplier relationships.

Maintain excellent standards in safety, hygiene, water quality, cleaning and regulatory compliance.

Own the in office member technology experience, including bookings, access, payments and troubleshooting.

Use member activity and feedback to personalise service, identify issues early and improve retention.

Develop relationships with local businesses, operators and community groups to build awareness and introduce the right people to Saunday.

Work with Saunday's marketing team to bring local ideas,



partnerships and community stories to life.

About you

Experience leading a customer-facing team in wellness, fitness, hospitality, retail or a similar venue.

Strong service instincts and the ability to create genuine connection with members and guests.

Confidence building partnerships, running events and growing local community awareness.

Proven ability to run a site operationally - including rosters, team standards, stock, supplier management and problem-solving.

Confidence learning and coaching others on booking, membership, app-based and back-of-house systems.

Current First Aid and CPR certification.

Availability to work a rotating roster that includes some evenings and weekend shifts.
