Seymour College is seeking an enthusiastic and capable Drama Teacher to join our Performing Arts team. This permanent position offers flexibility between 0.6 to 1.0 FTE, dependant on second teaching area, and will involve teaching Drama across the Middle and Senior Years.

Commencing in Term 1, 2027, the successful applicant will:

- Deliver engaging and high-quality Drama programs across Years 7-12.
- Inspire students to develop creativity, communication, collaboration and performance skills.
- Plan, assess and report on student learning in line with College expectations.
- Differentiate teaching to support the diverse learning needs, strengths and interests of students.
- Foster a positive, inclusive and productive learning setting.
- Support student wellbeing through positive and respectful relationships with students and families.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.




- Utilise contemporary pedagogical practices and technologies to enhance student learning.
- Contribute to productions, performances and co-curricular programs.

About you:

As the successful applicant, you will demonstrate:

- Relevant teaching qualifications and current registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia.
- Experience teaching Drama across middle and/or senior years.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- The ability to build positive and productive relationships with students, colleagues and families.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to professional learning and growth.
- An understanding of the educational and wellbeing needs of adolescent girls.
