Akuma 4x4 is a growing Australian 4x4 accessories brand. We specialise in roller shutters, tub racks, canopies and rooftop tents for modern utes.

We’re growing, and we need a skilled, reliable installer to run the tools in our Stafford workshop full-time. Your main focus will be getting quality installs done right the first time.

About the role:

Most of your week will be spent fitting Akuma products to customer vehicles. On days with no installs booked, you'll help keep the rest of the business moving with product assembly, order fulfilment and warehouse tasks. It's a small team, so everyone chips in.

Key responsibilities:

- Fitting 4x4 accessories to customer vehicles, including roller shutters, tub racks, canopies and rooftop tents
- Assembling products prior to fitment or dispatch
- Checking vehicles before and after each install, and walking customers through their new setup at handover
- Scanning vehicle tubs with our 3D scanner
- Assisting with product testing and development, and feeding back on fitment improvements
- Keeping the workshop, tools and equipment clean, secure and well maintained
- Helping with picking, packing, dispatch and receiving stock when no installs are scheduled
- General warehouse upkeep and organisation





About you:

- Proven experience fitting 4x4 accessories, or a solid automotive or mechanical background
- Confident with power tools and hand tools, and comfortable working on late-model utes
- Strong attention to detail. Installs need to be neat, correct and done right the first time
- Treats customer vehicles with care and respect
- Reliable, works well without supervision and takes ownership of their work
- Happy to switch to warehouse and fulfilment tasks when the workshop is quiet
- Good attitude and easy to work with
- Current driver's licence
- Australian work rights

Nice to have:

- A trade qualification (automotive, mechanical, or similar)
- Experience fitting roller shutters, canopies or rooftop tents
- Forklift licence
- Warehouse Experience
